New 8 Ball rules guidance issued to officials

Following consultation with the referees' panel, the association has issued updated guidance on the break requirement and called-pocket fouls in 8 Ball.

The guidance takes effect from 1 November 2026 and applies to all sanctioned events. Officials can complete the refresher module in the training library; certification is recorded automatically.
